Robotics Institute graduate student Tom Stepleton, who has detected a spelling problem in the Grant Building’s Morse code beacon, was interviewed by NPR’s Robert Siegel on the July 14 edition of All Things Considered. Tom, who was featured in Sunday’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, said the beacon’s spelling has deteriorated even further, now spelling TPEBTSAURGH instead of PITTSBURGH.
