The DARPA Subterranean or “SubT” Challenge seeks novel approaches to rapidly map, navigate, and search underground environments during time-sensitive combat operations or disaster response scenarios.

Team Explorer from Carnegie Mellon University and Oregon State University is competing in the final round of DARPA’s Subterranean Challenge from September 18 to September 24, 2021, inside the Louisville Mega Cavern Complex in Louisville, Kentucky.
