Improving Lunar Surface Science with Robotic Recon
Conference Paper, Proceedings of Joint Annual Meeting of LEAG-ICEUM-SRR, October, 2008
Abstract
When humans return to the lunar surface near 2020, three key goals will be to setup infrastructure, build a lunar outpost, and conduct science. To help achieve these goals, we are developing integrated human robotic systems, including robotic reconnaissance to improve lunar traverse science.
