Abstract
Tongue operated integrated system (TOIS) is a pressure based tongue drive system designed to provide assistance to people with severe spinal damage and hence suffering from paralysis in various parts of the body. It consists of force sensitive resistors which are responsible for sending data to the controller that will help in controlling user's environment with four different modes of operation, namely "Wheelchair Control Mode", "Emergency Contact Mode", "Home Automation Mode" and "Communication with Caretaker Mode".
