The Robotics Institute’s Dom Jonak and David Kohanbash took Scarab to Washington, D.C., on June 23 to participate in NASA Day on the Hill. The NASA-sponsored robot is designed to test robot designs and components that might be used to prospect for ice and other resources on the moon.
Exhibits in the Rayburn Foyer, Rayburn House Office Building, highlighted NASA’s Earth and space science portfolio, cutting-edge aeronautics research and technology development and continued leadership in human space flight and exploration.
